Torque Tightening, Do I need to do it to every bolt

Hi everyone, I have had most parts of my bike apart at one point and because I dont have a torque wrench (yet) I have just nipped them up to about the same effort it took to undo them.
How important is it to tighten bolts to spec, are some bolts more important than others, like say caliper mounts and the pad retainer screw, im gessing the mounts are more important.
Im asking mainly out of my own safety and because torque wrenches are expensive, which leads me to my next question, any recommendations at about £25?

Many people get a feel for the torque.
If not sure, get the wrench.0
