    It's not rocket science, the securing bolt fell off, possibly not properly secured in the first place.

    It just looks like the nut has come off, which would lead me to believe it wasn't on tight enough.
    Nothing to do with Trek more to do with the guy in the LBS who didn't put it on tight enough.

    Unless off course, the stalk id broke (hard to tell from the video) then it would be the makers of the Caliper at fault, again nothing to do with Trek.

    Cheers guys, now the mission to find the correct bolt.

    Just wanted to make sure whether this was 'common' and whether there was more to it. I got it from a reputable dealer and I guess they didn't tighten it
