Yes.....the route has been extended to 258 kilometres.....we now have to go up the Portalet twice (it's a filtering system to avoid a bottleneck in Hoz de Jaca). The French Environmental Police ( gendaramerie mediambiente francois) are fining people who ascend the Marie Blanque in low gear as it burns off the tar on the road surface which is causing "domage ireversible" to the 0-zone. Biescas to Sabiñaanigo stretch...."participants my use only one pedal" ( article 59, subsection 4.2 of "las Nprmas revisadas QH 2010")....Water has now been classed as a "performance enhancing drug". ( just like EPO aka evening primrose oil). Particpants found using water will be sent back to Sabi and made start again...
And by the way if you have any spare bikes at home, bring them along and they'll be sent off to Ethiopia...

ive just done a long sportive here in spain, and the heat really got to me, i thought living out here i'd be ok.
Just a thought if you are doing the QH it could be hot!0
