BikeRegister vs Datatag vs Immobitag. Any difference?

Hi All,

Is there any difference whatsoever between the different tagging systems? Can they all be scanned by the same police scanners? If so i'll just go for the cheapest (immobitag)

    i chose immobitag as it seemed to be more widely recognised/supported by various police forces
    my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny

    It's definitely the cheapest £11.95 vs about £20 for bike register and £25 for datatag. I'm unsure whether the dimensions might be a problem for my tube though (it's not round).

    they say it fits from 25.4 to 32mm diameter tubes

    so as long as your tube isn't smaller than 25.4 at the narrowest point then you'll be ok (if it is smaller you could chop the sides off of the tag ok i think) - if the tube's huge you can always pad the tag with some foam rubber
