First time in the saddle since last Thursday (got hit by a car) which seemed like forever.

Does anyone find the first time getting back in, you feel like a novice again? Was cycling in gently today

Definitely. Take it easy. Glad to read you're back on the bike quickly. :)

Thanks! It was hell, looking at my ROI which is in my bedroom without being able to ride anything...

I felt like it was the first time on a bike!

Glad you're back on the bike so quickly. Just take it easy and the confidence will come back.

I had some very nervous moments in traffic in the first few weeks I was back on the bike after my off last year. That was all and they quickly passed, it probably helps that I wiped out about 2 days due to concusion so I can't remember a thing anyway.

I know exactly how you feel, I had a silly off that ended up with me on the floor with a broken wrist. I now am so nervous stepping up kerbs it's daft.

Glad to hear you are back on the move, A great feeling isn't it.
