Yahoo News/Cars, reports that a replica Batmobile is being sold for £50,000.
Based on the original, and with help from the designer, it will be Road Legal.
Now, where's my Lottery ticket? Compared to Chris Evans £12 Million for a Ferrari, this has gotta be the bargain of the Decade!
"Stand back, Citizen, I'm just popping in to buy some low fat milk."

Not all Batmobiles are created equally
Now if it's that old retro 60's job with the open top / cockpit, then no, not worth £50K
If it's the one from any of the new Batman movies, especially the Batman Begins car, well, I could be tempted to dip into my lottery winnings0 -
The "old" one was £250,000 when first made.
Its an ICON! I remember Christmases looking for the rockets that fired out of the back of the Corgi/Dinky Batmobile and original James Bond cars.
I had two.
We wuz rich...or it felt like it.0 -

I blame Yahoo News for false info!
Whatever...nice car, the original one that is, much nicer than anything around then.
Bet Adam West couldn't jump in like he used to. Come to that, neither could Dick Ward, as he's now about 16 stone!
ZAP!...POW!...CRUSH!...go his nuts!
Other oustanding car, the Pink Panther one, from the start of the TV series.
Very cool, very nice, very...PINK!0 -

Thanks for that. I saw it a while back as I was going to Newcastle, and looking for somewhere to go on the way back.
Course was cancelled, so didn't visit. On my list tho...
There's a Car Museum in Betws y Coed I'll have to try too.
Best Car Show ever was in Tormarton, W.Country in 1969, I was 12.
Amazing Yank Tanks, Motorbikes, War vehicles.
GREAT!!!0
