I eat a lot of cereal bars, and usually you can see what they provide (RDA, etc...) on the box/wrapper.
Now, maybe my eyes are gettying worse, but I have scoured every inch of the box and the wrappers, and there's no info, other than ingredients on the box.
What are the rules on providing this info?
Are they getting dispensation, just beacause they say the bars are all natural?
They are fcuking gorgeous though!... Especially the Almond & Apricot one :D

I did get the Morrison's own brand Eat Smart cereal bars, found the cranberry ones lovely. Never check the dietary information although I recall there being 67 calories in each bar.

I do love a good cereal bar...... but I also like Tracker bars which aren't so good.

Never bother to look at ingredients or nutritional info, I just eat what I fancy

I use the Natural ones all the time
Lovely, easy to eat on the go and not full of processed rubbish.
The high fat content I think is due to the high proportion of nuts in the bars. Maybe someone can confirm this ?
No point looking for a bar with low calorific value as it won't provide you with any fuel

+1 I have a box of Jordans red berries in my drawer at work for elevensis. Apple & Cranberry and Blueberry are both good too, The papaya and pineaplle is a bit sweet. Their breakfast bars are good too but are better having been warmed up in your pocket first :P

The bars are highish in fat because of the nuts, it doesn't mean it is bad fat however, you need to eat good fats in your diet, not the bad fats.

The yoghurt coated ones are worse, but the ones without yoghurt or chocolate are not that bad

If you want to know what is in a cereal bar, make your own.

Flapjack is startlingly easy to make out of butter, syrup, oatmeal and whatever else you choose to add (bananas for chewy, apple and sultanas for tasty, spices for interesting.) Count it in, cut it up, work it out.

I uses to use the Eat Natural, and although they taste lovely they are a bit fatty as you say. Now I use Nutri-grain Blueberry cereal bars.

The nuts will be a major source of fats in the bars. But looking at the yogurt coated ones, they are much higher is saturated fats ('bad' fats), which suggests a lot of the fat comes from the milk in the yogurt coating.

So the ones without a coating are 'better' from a nutritional point of view.
However IMHO the 'cranberries macadamias and dark chocolate' one is the daddy of them all!

They are nice, if a little expensive, Trek are also very good. The downside is actually finding them in the shops, the local shops that did sell them have stopped, so that is why I have resorted to the Eat Natural bars.

Trek and Nak'd bars are made by the same company, Sainsburys sell them.
