I've got to take a bike bag on a tour with me as I'm coming back on a train from Cologne. Any suggestions?

If you mean padded bike bags, Wiggle have one, http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/dhb_E ... 360032373/
as does Rose.de which is a bit more expensive but better, although smaller.http://roseversand.com/bags-cases/bags/ ... ail2=16752
Also saw a great one on the "bay" but coulnt buy it cos my bike has a stupid ISP seatmast.
If you dont need it padded, Decathlon is a good option: http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/bike-carry-bag-17253898/
But of course all depends on type of bike & its value.Fitter....healthier....more productive.....0 -
If its for carrying on the bike while you're on tour then you probably want a Ground Effect tardis.
The other option is a big clear plastic bag like this. I've used one of these for flying with my mtb touring bike a couple of times now. I pack the bike down like you would for a normal bike bag, add bits of cardboard for protection and cover it with packing tape. Works okay for flying, but not easy to lug around so the Tardis is probably a better option for you.More problems but still living....0 -

Or if it's just to get there, then get back........ ask your local bike shop to keep a box for you, and e-mail a bike shop where you are going to get one for the way back.0

Merlin have some cracking deals on unpadded bags right now as i was just pondering one myself - need to carry the bike on the back seat of my car and keep it in a hotel room without getting into bother with the staff...Your Past is Not Your Potential...0
