I was being sarcastic.
(Not really, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it)0 -
Greips needs to go back to some sh*t races to get some sh*t wins...Le Blaireau (1)0

An exciting finale. Nice to see Vino and Evans sparring.
So unpredicatble this race. Sastre loses another 2 minutes...."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
F****** Greipel, I had him for PTP too as it was described as a "downhill" stage and yet he still can't beat his own lead out man. Where are all those who said he should have been HTC's first choice at MSR?0
-
He's saving himself for the Tour... which he deserves to race in... :?0

I wasn't home so only managed to watch the end of the stage. What happened to Sastre?0

Totally agree, never normally see that, exciting to see them giving everything on 'non GC' stages.0 -

punctured about 10k out. Got a spare wheel off the mavic car, again.
Cervelo's team car must have been training with Cadels squad, you never see either of them.0 -

Just watching my recording of the stage and King Kelly came out with another classic 3km out: "It looks like its going to be a crappy sprint... a cr..cra.. crappy sprint"
He had to check himself - i think he was going to say "s****y"**************************************************

Think he was trying to say scrappy but said "crappy" by accident... he then tried to correct himself and said it again so he gave up and settled for "sloppy"0 -

reminds me of Pantani vs JaJa sprinting head to head"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. What we're witnessing here is the world's most high profile mid-life crisis" Afx237vi Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:43 pm0 -
That rain 30kms out was pretty heavy! I was amazed having gone out to make a cuppa and come back in to see the roads completely dry for the finish and probably just as well with that run through the town with a few kms to go although the break may have stayed clear if conditions hadn't improved.
I wondered what had happened to Sastre, there were also quite a few Sky riders in his group any idea what happened to them or are they just knackered?
As others have said it was good to see Cuddles and Vino going for the sprint, those two are livening the race up no end and although I'm no fan of Vino's I hope the two of them are still in contention to the very end with Cuddles just edging it on the penultimate or even final stage.0 -
