Don't you call that helmet ugly, I have one like that.0

Tony Martin doesn't look like he's in California...The most painful climb in Northern Ireland http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs200.snc1/6776_124247198694_548863694_2335754_8016178_n.jpg0

Are Chav's braces off?Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0
-
Don't know about the braces but cav looks slim ,by his standards. It’s the most beautiful sport in the world but it’s governed by ***ts who have turned it into a crock of ****.0

According to That gaylord Lance Armstrong, The TOC is the second biggest race in the world.. TDF comes first...
I hope the TW4T falls and breaks his collarbone again.. or even better.. His Jaw and his fingers so we don't have to listen or read his shite..0 -
My mate,Tom Davies is there somewhere, looking after the Rabobank boys.
Works for Giant, used to live in Lanzarote, born in Aberystwyth.
Nice guy.0 -
I was in California last week and there was a LOT of ToC stuff. It is treated as quite a big deal.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0

money wise is it the second biggest?"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. What we're witnessing here is the world's most high profile mid-life crisis" Afx237vi Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:43 pm0 -
frenchfighter wrote:Why does Cav use that ugly helmet and not the one Renshaw has.
Coz he's hot and whatever he wears looks good on him.
Oh, thanks for the photos, by the way. Really good ones!0 -

I don't think so. As I remember it, they were cash strapped last year. But then, California's economy is bigger than most countries, so you never know.
I think ToC is a reasonable race. But really, at the moment, it's like a random Spanish week long stage race which happens to attract a bunch of TdF guys looking for some training miles.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -

True.
But for Americans who long to see their stars strut their stuff, but never have done because they were the otherside of the pond (and I imagine they are fairly numerous) it will be great. I'm sure it will get fantastic coverage, and, it's THE market for many of the sponsors.
It will certainly get WAY more coverage in the states that the Giro would.0 -

Oh, for sure. And it's a nice place to ride a bike, by the looks of things. I think they need to sort the route out a bit though.
Interesting looking at Garmin though - They sent their bests guys (IMO) to the Giro.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
I'm sure I read a while back that Z was going for the overall. But maybe they want to give Farrar as good a chance at stage wins as possible. After all, wasn't the whole point of Garmin's sponsorship to break into the European market, so it might make sense form that perspective.Le Blaireau (1)0

Lets all hope Angry Hunter takes the stage today. That would be a resultFckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0

How would you 'sort out' the route?0 -

Spot on. Not even a nice parcours and has an inflated sense of importance, lending itself to a race only the US domestic market would be interested in.Contador is the Greatest0 -

Mountain top finish. A proper one, not this Bear Lake lark we've got.
I'd also like to see a stage ending based roughly on the old GP San Francisco route (a few circuits)

Rick, take a look at the profile links on the right for each stage....it looks really, really boring/un-inventive/average/unchallenging etc.

What interest is that? It's pretty obvious from my comments that I don't think much of the race.Contador is the Greatest0 -

Lance is not a winner, unless you are thinking of a random MTB race and a US Domestic Chipper.
Contador, Cancellara, Cav, Valverde etc they are all winners. Some of them people like, some of them people don't, winning is nothing to do with it.0 -
What's on LA's helmet, Is it an OS map??
Mite take an old map of mine and stick it to my helmet if it looks cool!!0 -
