I have some of these Shimano single-sided pedals (SPD mechanism one side, flat pedal the other) and one of them seems to have developed an annoying click. Supposedly these are serviceable but I can't really see how to get at the bearings- any tips?

On the outer side of the cage is a cap which comes out with a knife blade or other sharp tool which gives access to the cup and cone bearing set-up, this is secured with a locknut. Can't remember the size of the bearings though but I think it might be either 3/32" or 5/32"

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Now, why didn't I think to look for that diagram myself?

    Thanks redvee!
