Unless you have too much money to care, I would strongly recomend avoiding Ben Hayward repair shop (the one behind the anchor).

Shop's fine enough, though they suffer from the chronic East Anglian sourness.

I'd avoid Ben Haywards and Howes, try Primo cycles on Burleigh street. Just bought a Cervelo S1 from there, they know their stuff and are friendly too.
  • Ben Haywards is a little overpriced, and they have lost my custom several times because the staff were pretty unpleseant. I am a big fan of Townsends though, they are very helpful, and they stock Genesis, Ridgeback, and Scott at pretty good prices.

Theres a good'un in Shelford, though the owner does come over a bit arrogant - he does seem to know his stuff.
