Looking for a light saddle at a reasonable price....

I'm looking for a saddle that's under 150g, but can't so far find anything at a price I'm prepared to pay.
The Charge Knife is a shade over 200g for £45, and the Ritchey Pro Streem Saddle V2 is around the same price and weight, but to go down below this seems to need a big jump in price. So, for example, to get one at 135g you have to pay over £100 for a Selle Italia SLR Fibra or go to £124 for a Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio at 125g.
What I'd like is a saddle that's at or near the 150g mark for a more reasonable price, say around £60-£70: does anyone know if such a thing exists?

Getting the right saddle is more important than the weight though.0 -

is this for a show bike - or do you actually plan to ride it..??
if you plan to ride it, I would be inclined to use a slightly different selection criteria - ie one that rates saddles by comfort, not weight. Your arrse will thank you for it...0 -
I think reddragon's last point was the salient one, it matters not whether a saddle is light or not - it matters whether it makes your botty sore... also will you be using it for road or TT ?? this may narrow your options...
only thing I can suggest is to get on weight weenies, they may know where to get bargains"I get paid to make other people suffer on my wheel, how good is that"

Thanks for the advice so far, folks. One thing I should perhaps have said: this is definitely more for 'show' than for serious riding - in other words, I will actually be riding the bike concerned (it won't be hanging on the wall.....) but it's not one I'll use for long rides . Hence my criteria are weight and price but not comfort: for those bikes I use my Brooks saddles.0

Specialized Toupe. 150g, comes in both black and white, and is really comfortable too. Shop around and you can get them for less than £70 (nearly new ones regularly go for less than £30-40 on ebay). Make sure you get your bum measured though so you know which width to get.0

Sounds a good bet, thank you. But, er, how do I measure my bum? That is, what are the critical dimension(s)?0 -
Sorry. The critical dimension is the width between your sit bones. The saddles come in 130mm or 143mm wide. Any specialized dealer will have a little gel pad that you sit on which will leave indentations from your sit bones.0

Great, thank you very much.
This is my first post on this forum and I'm very impressed: excellent, swift advice from a number of people. Good work!
