Fox F-Series fork lockout problem

I'm having problems with the lockout on an Fox 32 F80 RL fork and am struggling to find any info on the internet so wondered if anyone has experienced similar...

For 2 months they worked well. Then the lockout got stuck on i.e the forks were permanently locked regardless of the switch position. The forks were returned under warranty. One month later they were returned to me. They were no longer permanently locked but they no longer locked out either when i wanted them to. They were slighty stiffer with lockout on but could still compress them half way by just resting on the bars and there was no noticable difference when riding. Returned them again. Forks came back to me with no noticable difference from when I last had them i.e. still won't lock out. I have been told to return them again.

The forks came with the bike in january and since that time the bike has now been without forks and obviously unridable for about the same time as it has had forks which is not good. Just wondered if any one has experienced similar or knows whether it might be worth having a go myself and save me waiting for weeks again? Does anyone know how the locking mechanism works on these forks or fox air forks?

Personally i'd ask for a new set now after so much messing about in such a short time period
  • sounds like u busted a cartrige. take it to the bike shop, they'll put a new one 4 u. or send it back to the company, it's gonna cost u a shipping.
