Right, first impressions are...great bike for the money, no, fantastic bike for the money!

I was worried thatIi wasn't going to get the correct sized frame as I couldn't decide between the S and the M. I went for the medium in the end and I think I made the right choice as it feels pretty good. It also feels very fast, It's not as light as the spec claims at just over 25lbs with wellgo mg1 pedals fitted, but it's still 2.5lbs lighter than my last HT. I have only been for a blast around the lanes, but the acceleration is quite noticeable. I have changed the skinny conti's for some 2.35 kenda sb 8's which fit OK, although there isn't much clearance now, replaced the cheap grips with some lock-on's and ditched the plastic pedals too. I have yet to decide on the saddle, it looks shit, but did feel quite comfy. I have never used sram gears before so this was a bit of a shock. The shifters are a little stiff, but I guess this will get better in time, but the gear changes are very snappy and quick and not a smooth as shimano. The brakes are mental too, but I have just read that after bedding in they will be less savage. The fork is the most expensive I have ever had and just bouncing around the road it really feels very smooth.

All in all I am very pleased so far and can't wait to get griped and sorted :D

I used to have one of the Team HT bikes a couple of years back, I thought it was a great bike... the stigma of it being a Halford bike is wearing off now too which is good, as they aren't!

A very good bike, you should be very happy. Now go out and get it dirty!
