Just been thinking about this do most of you drop the bits off at the local tip/recycle centre?
or
Save up a good load or club together with some mates and get some cash from a scrap metal merchant?

I just save up all my scrap metal and drop it off at the recycler. Only need to make 1 trip about every 2 years. The cash is hardly worth it, mostly just trying prevent waste.0

I drop small bits of metal in to the bin at my local supermarket. I know it says it is for food containers but I reckon that steel is steel , whether it comes in the shape of a baked bean tin or e.g. an old bicycle chain.

Mine just sit in a box in the shed until they seem to corrode or something as I can't recall throwing any away but there are none there any more! :?0

I take mine into work as we have a scrap metal bin in the depot. It gets filled up then taken away for recycling. I R GreenThe universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle. ...Stapp’s Ironical Paradox Law
