I would just like to share my delight and absolute love for this bag.

I spent many days considering my options so the only way to decide was to get drunk and play wishlist roulette. Two weeks later it arrived.

I have to say the layout is awesome space for everything and anything, nice layout loads of pockets and so comfortable, you forget you have it on instantly.

The bladder is good as well, was gona swap it over for the ones I use but gave it a go and super awesome also.

Anyone looking to get a new trail bag or whatever you wana call it I can highly recommend it, expensive but so worth it.

9/10
I use all 9 inches.

  • 2nded! It's the best pack I've used. The bladder is so far ahead of the competition. The only negative I've found is that when it's full it can move about on the back a bit and it's hard to get it tied down firmly with it still being comfortable. It's huge as well, it holds all my guiding kit and still has space for some food!

I have been looking at getting the Apex for a while it looks like just what I want. One question would a laptop fit inside the bladder pocket?

I will be using it a lot for work and i have to carry a laptop with me all the time a panasonic at the moment but soon to be a 15inch dell ATG

Anyway if you have a laptop would you mind giving it ago. Maybe a photo if possible

    Cheers
  • Hopefully the Dakine Nomad I've just ordered is just as good!

I've been using one for a few months, really comfortable, and looks the tits in the "bomber" colour. Only thing with it is that the bladder makes the water taste like snorkel if it's in there too long. I've tried milton tablets etc, but i can't seem to shift it.
  • Thanks for info.

CRC confirmed its on the way - so can hopefully test it early next week.

That's the one I got. Seems a great bit of kit so far.
