Hello
What are the advantages and disadvantages of Presta and Schrader valves. I've always had Schrader before and my new bike came with Presta. When I look around, most new bikes, particularly the top end ones seem top have Presta?
Just curious about why the trend has changed.

Some prefer one over the other, and depends on how the rims are drilled.0 -
no "benefit" of either... just depends what your rims take/what you prefer.
the schrader valve is better though

Schrader is better, although my last set of rims would disagree, the had an argument with my drill and lost, on the plus side should i ever get a tube with two valves it should fit just fine
