Lake district accommodation

Hopefully planning a trip to the lakes with some mates in the next month or so. Anyone have any suggestions of cheapish bike friendly places to stay?
Would be a group of 6 or so lads - most of the places I've looked at (or been to with the mrs) seem to be geared up more for couples/families. Would also be for 2/3 nights at a weekend.
Not to bothered if its northen/southern lakes as I'm sure the riding will take care of itself..!
Cheers,
John

Tents.
If that's not your cup of tea, it may be worth thinking about a bunk barn. I'm not sure what the cost would be if there's only 6 of you, but being there on your own, sat around a log fire....it's worth checking out!0 -
This place is nice in an ideal position for MTB. They will take groups but only up to 6 people for camping, not sure if this applies to the bunkhouse. Good bar on site with food and a pub literally next door.

It is also 5 mins down the road from the hartsop where you can do highstreet loop. Location is excellent for MTB
