Giant Talon 0 or GT Avalanche Disc 1.0 decisions decisions

Hi guys,

After my last MTB (Diamondback Response) got nicked and the home insurance refused to cover it i'm now in the position to get a new MTB. 8)

I've narrowed the search down to two bikes. The (from what I can) tell slightly better specced
Giant Talon 0

which I can have for a mere £80 more than the slightly lesser specced
GT Avalanche 1.0 Disc

Which i can get for £460.

I guess the question is this. Is it worth going for the Giant for the extra £ or will there be no noticeable difference :?:

If you spend a bit extra the fury is much better specced than both the others no contest.
If you can weight they have 20% off sales from time to time bringing it to £480 so less than the talon, Go to a local store and have a look as there may be 08 models reduced in your size.

I wouldn't say the Fury was better equipped - all are good deals.

TBH fastandfuriousxc its really just between the Giant and the GT, im not really considering anything else, Cheers for taking the time to have a look/think about it though!

Just thought i'd get some opinions on each bike before I choose one. Anymore thoughts people?
