New Bike Dilemma

Hi,
I'm looking at the following bikes:
Boardman Carbon (£999) - great spec for £££ as discussed widely on the forums but dont like the look
Trek 2.x (£various)
Cube Agree Pro (alu) (£1350) - v. good alu frame, ultegra, nice on the eyes
Cube Agree GTC Pro (£1599) - carbon frame, with similar spec as above, ultegra etc.
Cannondale Six Carbon 105 (£1799) - BOTY, carbon frame, 105
Basically, I am buying the bike to supplement my training, particularly during the summer months. I am a semi pro rugby player and get a bit fed up of running all the time so would use the bike mainly in the off season 3/4 times per week. Other times it would be used 1/2 times per week as a training ride and for rehab as it is easier on the knees etc.
I would really appreciate your thoughts on what bike would suit a new roadie like myself and for my circumstances.
I like the bikes above for different reasons but ultimately want a good value, comfortable and great looking bike, that will be good for years to come and would hold a bit of value when coming to sell on(!!!).
Could you recommend any others that you feel would be suitable? I am a fit guy, 6'1 and 98kg.
Many thanks in advance for any advice.

It's got to be the Cannondale Six out of the ones you've listed.
True, the Boardman is a fantastic bike at the price, but if you don't like the looks then there's little point. Your list also includes some other very nice bikes but, if you can afford it the Six is a stunner. C+ Bike of the year is going to hold it's price as well as any.
I would say before making any decision, go to a dealer who will fit you to the bike & give it a trial before parting with any cash.Cycling weakly0 -

I've got the boardman, good bike but if i could afford to spend £1700 on a bike I'd get the six. If you don't, you'll probably end up wishing you had.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0
