Still not fixed.

I was just thinking he was supposed to resume in a couple of days.

I wonder if he exposed his legs too early in the season? Or perhaps x-country skiing get the cardio system ready but doesn't get the legs ready for the stress of racing?

I'm sure Sky will have some hippy psuedo-scientist have a look at him and wave crystals around while he enjoys a glass of cherry juice.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

Well, I still think he's the new Eddy Merckx. Eddy doesn't race these days either.

    LOL
  • I wold have though an achilles injury from cycling is pretty rare? How'd he injure it originally? Also why isn't rest and physio healing it - he says it is no better now than it was? I'm surprised that Sky haven't sorted this out given Brailsford's reputation for leaving no marginal stone ungained - or something.

Achillie problems are quite often difficult to overcome from what I've heard. Who knows how you do it on a bike, overstretching it in cold weather possibly :?

I think bloodflow to tendons is very poor, making the healing process quite protracted. Or something.

I didn't turn a pedal throughout 2009 because of it. Not sure what caused it. And I was still playing hockey, which can't have helped recovery (didn't need a operation though).

I wonder if "extract of cortisone" would help?

Cortisone cures all known sporting injuries just ask any American footballer in their late 30's or 40's who are unable to walk having played on after being pumped full of the stuff
