One team finishes 4th in the premiership and their manager is awarded manager of the year,? another team manage to escape relegation, and their manager is promptly sacked, good job they weren't relegated - memories of Andres Escobar come to mind.

Roy Hodgson should have been Manager of the Year. Again. He deserved it. Again.

    The bloke's a legend.

How Benitez failed to win it I just don't know. Any man who can hang on to his job so long despite being sh1te at it deserves some kind of award.

A contract with a pay-off of £16 million in 24 hours may have just a little to do with him being kept on.

    I want his agent!
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

Zola's chance will come around again, hopefully he won't have to suffer two such total goons as Sullivan and Gold next time around.
