A new one is what, £1200 ish?
£5-600 on a good day, maybe if there's nothing major wrong.
I paid that a few years back for a 2-3 year old BMC Streetfire SSX (not the one I have now) with Ultegra and Mavic Cosmos wheels (edit: from LBS with service etc.) but bikes (and cars) seem to hold their value much more here.
didn't you post the other day that the BB was fooked? not major but RRP for 105 is £30, DA 7800 £40 but both can be got for £20-odd. Maybe worth changing if you can do the work yourself to stop too much haggling as if I were buying it I'd haggle both the RRP cost of the part and paying a bike shop to do the work (then buy it cheap online and change it myself).0 -
I thought it was fooked, it felt pretty rough, but I'm riding it and it's not coming loose or clicking so seems fine atm.
Dunno if it's worth selling if that's all I could get, I'd probs have sold it and got a Boardman.0 -

unless you get lucky on ebay, I don't think you'll get much more than what I said. Stick it on the classifieds here with an asking price of 900 quid and see if you get any interest (apart from probably a load of jokers and time wasters who've read this thread). Then knock it down 50 quid at a time until you get some serious interest. You don't actually have to sell it if you think it's not going to allow to buy a Boardman.0

Dude theres nowt wrong with that bike. upgrade the groupset and wheels as and when you need/can. its an epic bike
