hi there i have a trek 4300 disc brake model from 2003 and i was hoping to upgrade the suspension as it is getting pretty rusty , the suspension at moment is insync grind 323 70mm travel , unfortunately i have no idea as to sizing etc was just looking for a couple off recommenditions say around the 100-150 pound mark , i use this bike for commuting and off road but mainly on forest trails etc nothing too major , i have dealt with evans cycles and chain reactions before if anyone could forward me some links etc that would be great many thanks , this is my bike spec here http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/20 ... e/4300disc

Have a look at the Tora SL by Rockshox, Ensure it has the right brake mounts though.0

Look on CRC for forks with 65-80mm travel so as not to upset the handling by jacking up the front end too much with a longer ttravel fork - Suntour seem to be the main players in 80mm travel area and for the riding you do I'd question whether you need to spend more than 150 on a suntour - the Tora might work as SS suggests but unless you get the U turn and crank it down to 85 its going to be a bit long and then your carrying weight in the form of a U turn facility you arent really able to use. IMHO.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0

The Toras can be reduced to 80 internally.0
