I would like to change the forks on my road bike, the frame measures 41.5mm and I would like to fit forks with a 1 1/8" steerer, is this possible?
thanks

you need to know the fork steerer diameter and go form there, frames have all sorts of material thicknesses.

1 1/8" is the diameter of the fork steerer tube, most modern bikes use this diameter steerer. I am not sure what piece of the frame you have measured that is 41.5 mm but it will be irrelevant, you just need to check the existing fork is a 1 1/8" steerer. What make & model is the bike?
