My new bike, is standard no plans to change anything. This bike is fast, on a 1 hour loop i can do it 10 minutes quicker than on my trek 4500 hardtail. Great bike, recomend it to anyone.

That looks really nice. What's it climb like?

Climbing is excellent, only time i lockout rear suss is if powering up short tarmac climbs. When seated on any climb is smooth as anything. Also really quick on accelerating.

I'd move the quick release on the front wheel so it locks facing upwards (if you haven't already!), if you knock it, it might lead to a nasty stack!

Love the black/red theme on the anthems, it's a tasty looking bike!

Nice looking bike. It makes a change to see pictures of new bikes with mud on them.

Have since moved quick release, cheers. Was a bit apprehensive about taking it out in muddy conditions, this was from my first ride out on it, all comes out in the wash though, so no worries now. Have since changed the saddle for a black/white ti rail sdg bel air rl, as i had grown used to this type of saddle on my old bike. So if anyone interested in the nice red and black fizik tundra, for a price, only used three times.

Mine is an 18" frame and i am about 5ft 9". Fits me just right, i have a good couple of inches on stand over height. Is there no where you can try one out or go by the size frame you have at mo. I have a 19.5" trek and that was slightly to big as i only had about an inch on stand over height, that is why i went for the 18".

Do the loose cables down by the BB get in the way/tangled in bushes and stuff?

This would look nice with my Giant TCR Team !

What I can't figure out is, How come todays MBR tests a Giant Trance X4 for 995 English Pounds, but...to buy a frame only its...995 English Pounds?
( Ok, the shock might be better on the "frame only" but how bloody much better?
Worth everything else on the bike??? I don't think so...)
