ideally you'd have a line output, not a headphone output to feed it though, the impedance missmatch can make it sound like crap using some headphone outs.0

Damn just ordered lol. Oh well il see what its like. Wont be getting used alot tbh.
Another question now  , What cable do i need to go from my PS3 to the above system? Just looked and theres a few different types. The denon has digital in/out is that the one?
Thanks0 -
WHat output ports does the PS3 have?0
-
Has digital out. So does that mean i get digital out to digital in? or out - out?0

if you have an old PS2 lying around, then you can use it's AV output cable, stick it in the back of the PS3, and connect the left and right (white and Red, respectively) phono connectors to your amp.
Apart from that, I think it's got an optical SPDIf connector, to hook it up to digital amplifiers.0 -
Yes, you need that. The amp will then decode into 7.1, or you may have to down mix to whatever you have.0

Cheers yeehaa il give it a try tomorrow before i get the other cable ordered.
Is it the out - in cable i need then?
Thanks for the help guys, Im clueless when it comes to all this stuff, usually just take a punt and end up buying the wrong cables0 -

You need to connect the digital OUT on the PS3 to the digital IN on the amplifier. There is no digital IN on the PS3 anyway.0
