Which Forks - Reba SL or Sid Race?

I'm considering a change of 100mm fork for my Blur Classic and am undecided between the Rock Shox Reba SL or the Sid Race, both on offer at Merlin.
The Sid Race is give or take £70 quid dearer, but lighter than the Reba SL, but otherwise the spec seems identical.
Any advice before I spend some cash??
Thank you.

I no longer own a Kona so the name is somewhat misleading.

The SL can be run at 120mm of travel, and is a little more meat in the structure. Is the safer bet.
But depends how you ride, and what you want. Are you a heavy rider?0 -
I think the Sid Race should be compared to the Reba Race, which lowers the price difference to £50.
It depends what your priorities are, if you race XC then the SID is the obvious one, if not, I guess the REBA might be a bit sturdier, which would explain why its max rotor size is 200mm rather then 185mmm, maybe.0 -
I currently have a Recon Race fitted which is probably more than adequate, and a RP23 at the rear.
I want to do a few XC races this summer and hopefully a season next year and get the weight of the bike down a little bit, it's currently just over 29lbs so by changing fork should be able to lose some weight there.
I'm not sure what the max fork I can fit is, would a 120mm be too much, I'm also running a 185 rotor up front.
I'm 12.5 stone and don't get too carried away chucking the bike about.I no longer own a Kona so the name is somewhat misleading.0 -
The Recon Race is about 3.85lbs - the Reba 3.6lbs and the sid 3.3lbs.
Is it worth it?0 -

I doubt I'd probably notice the difference other than in my bank balance....I no longer own a Kona so the name is somewhat misleading.0 -

Possibly a nice saving to be had there with your money. These wheels are 1900g or so with standard spokes [though depends on which model of hub exactly]
400 will get you a sub 1500g set. Nearly a pound weight saving, and rotating weight too.0 -

XTR hubs, Stans rims, Dt Rev spokes from Merlin.
Or the American CLassic wheelset.0
