Hope Pro 2

I can not believe this, riding home from football this eve and my rear cassette slipped had a look and my hub is cracked right across. They are 2 years old and have had light use really i live in Suffolk for crying out loud and mainly ride Thetford so what i'm saying is not really extreme riding. Anyone else had a hope hub crack. I'm a bit annoyed because the XT hubs i had before lasted 9 years and were still fine when i got rid of them. I guess they don't make em like they used too.

sounds quite normal. there are many cracked Pro 2s out there.

Hope are usually good at sorting it out. Drop them a line.

Was a known problem with a small batch.

I emailed them but might give them a buzz tomo as i hate not having my bike.

Never knew this about the Hope hubs. Was going to up-grade to one too!

Well hope E mailed back today and told me to send the wheel back and they will replace the hub which is excellent news as i didn't really feel like swapping my rim on to a new hub. A* for after sales service then.
