Just had an email from these people with details of their screening tonight


'Just a reminder to say the next Bicycle Film Society Showing is Tomorrow Monday 10th May.

Our venue fro tomorrows showing will be the new Bicycle Café on Old Street ‘Look Mum No Hands’ at 49 Old Street London EC1V 9HX not the Calthorpe as listed in the Programme.

The show will start at 7:30.

Tomorrow’s main film will be Live Bicycle the quirky Italian documentary about Ciemmona or Critical Mass Interplanetary a massive Critical Mass bike ride which happens every May and brings the streets of Rome to a halt with between five and six thousand cyclists hitting the streets.

Before the main showing we have 10 shorts which include

Bicycle Samba – a man playing a bike

Copenhagen Travel Talk – a 1950’s travel log about Copenhagen but mainly about cycling

A Dutch Cycle film – an early 60’s film of cycling in Holland including some wacky sidecars, trailers and commercial bike.

Change of Transportation – a cycle comedy

Dexter – an inspiring doc. Of a one legged cycle courier

Lords of the Chain ring – More Whackyness

Rick Does Critical Mass

TARC Bike Rack Rap

Copenhagen Bicycle Fun Bloc – more amusing bike funniness

    The shorts were quirky and occassionally funny. The Change of Transportation Comedy can be found on YouTube under I'm Riding My Bike, Bitch - a bizarre rap :D :roll:
