Are they able to fly back to Italy does anyone know for sure, or is it the coach option for the peloton?

Last I heard the ash was clearing and they are flying.

Said on CN earlier that they were flying from Oostende to Cuneo tonight (around 8.30/9) on two separate chartered flights as planned.

Team vehicles already on their way to Italy it would seem.

The alternate plan was to bus everyone to Luxembourg hotels tonight, before continuing the main bulk of the drive down tomorrow.

At the rate that lot are crashing, I wouldn't fancy getting on a plane with them.

Maybe they should take a "gipsvlucht" (An annual flight from the Alps to the Netherlands, bringing back Dutch and Belgian snow fetishists after they've managed to crash into trees or fall out of chairlifts.)
