First outing today

took my daughter this morning with our brand new bikes in Thorndon Park (Brentwood). This was great fun. what a difference with riding on the road! (still love my road biking though). I must control myself because I can see this becoming a serious hobby.

    Yeah didn't think I'd take to mountain biking after close on 25yrs without a bike. Now two bikes later and just about to start my first self build. Have biked all over, particular fav is Scotland and the 7stanes trails though regularly go Wales and the Peaks too.
    Its an awsome feeling being out in the wilds and you just wouldn't get to see some of the scenery from a car or road bike.
