    That was great yesterday, I rather felt for the mechanics sitting on a motorbike with a spare bike over their shoulder for upwards of 40 minutes and then Arroyo's mechanic (there may have been others) ran beside him for the last section, chapeau!

    there was one left hand corner where they were spinning along nicely, turned the corner and BANG nearly stopped dead in their tracks, they really had to stand on the pedals and wrestle the bike up the hill, very impressive.

    Garzelli was riding 34x29, I make that 30" for all you gear inch freaks ;)

    I don't think it's particularly worthy of starting a new thread, but I've been teaching my 3 year old son to say rider's names, and now he won't stop saying Fabian Cancellara...
