I am from Norway and found this 1000k ride just this week.Signed up and persuaded the wife to stick around Shrewsbury alone for some days in july on our visit to the UK. Anyone here doing that ride and could you please share some thoughts about what to expect; weatherwise, traffic, etc.

weather will be nice fingers crossed, it should be that time of the year but you can never predict it round here. some of those roads will be very busy at times, though parts of that ride are in areas so quiet there wont be anyone else around for miles

had not even heard of this ride before but its an interesting read. the mileage isnt too daunting but just short of 14000m climbing is. good luck if you ride it. muchos respect to audax riders!

The places on the ride filled up quite a few months ago. If you discovered it this week it is unlikely you will be riding.

Sorry for the outburst, I was at a loss for info about the ride and a bit perplexed that over 60 people had looked at my post and noone cared to say hello or give me an answer. I have signed up (and received confirmation) so I am going there this july. Thanks vorsprung for the link.
