Has anyone ever heard of 'Lugano' bikes???????

I have just been given an early to mid 80's Lugano racing bike with Shimano Golden Arrow groupset and other nice bits and bobs. I have trawelled the internet and cannot find any info at all on the manufacturer. There is no other information on the frame about where it was made or what out of (steel i would say). It is very light and i will blow up the tyres later and see how she rides! Any info would be great. Nathan

Are you sure Lugano is the manufacturer and not the model? It could well be that it's the model name since it's fairly common to name bikes after places in that area of the world.0
