He has had to refuse going back to work though so....

BTW, he has been unemployed for the past few years because of a nervous breakdown so excuse me if I see the fact they will punish anyone that refuses to go back to work as a bad thing

But by some 'professionals' he is seen to be able to work but his GP says absolutely not, my uncle, who is also a GP, says absolutely not and I can quite obviously see that he can't.

Anyway, I am leaving it now

Agreed, sheeps is on about all the 'Jeremy Kyle' types that can work but choose not too.

Not someone who cannot due to injury or illness. Thats a different matter.

I know a few people who have 'conditions' and want to work but cant becuase of them.

Stress is such a fanny reason to miss work. Your dad is a slacker. Face it.

Say that to his face and you will see he can't work because of it just by looking at him

Leave it out, either you are trolling (which I think you may be) or you actually know nothing about stress and what it can do to people.

So, not a funny reason to lose work at all.

if a man is too sick to work, he is too sick to works, simples.

now, im not a medical professional, but as far as i can tell, it all depends on what a man does for a living compared to the condition he is suffering. if a man works behind a desk and has some form of weakness, he should be fine, if a man is a coal miner and has recently had a heart attack, it stands to reason he might need a period of recovery.

the problem with folk who are "too sick to work" is that they get a bit used to it, these are the people who deserve to be held accountable.

as it happens, the whole sick note from a doctor thing has recently been reformed:

seems a bit fairer to me.

Yeah, thats something that knocked his recovery back a lot since he went through more having to fight his case

You'd love the "office pest" at our place.

Every other week he has a new "condition" meaning he can get off work for a bit, when it reality he's a lazy fat fcuker.

He's a mental case, a perv, a bit of a pedo and annoying as hell...

People are actually scared that one day he will bring a pistol in a gun us down

the new system should help prevent webbos like that.

we have an enormous number of blokes where i worked last who were content to be on the sick with old injuries, according to them they couldnt be repaired.

everytime i get injured, i get some very nice private healthcare and am right as rain very quickly.

it annoys me when folk sit enjoying their injuries. there is a very clear difference between injured and used to be.

It got crushed in 1945 and the country it started in git split in two. In 1989 reunification happened and now the principles of Hitler's dream, as in "One Europe, one currency and a Federal system run from central Europe" has reemerged as the "European Union" just minus the jackboots, goosestep and anti Jewish mandate. You just have to love democracy
