The Col de la Croix de Fer is open from today. The Glandon is still shut so it's not possible to descend that yet to make the 'Marmotte' circuit. Galibier still shut too.
If riding the cols soon after opening it may be advisable to take some warm weather and waterproof kit as when cycling between 'walls' of snow it can be cold and throw up a lot of meltwater spray.
For up to date col openings you can visit this site:http://www.bison-fute.equipement.gouv.fr/acces-aux-cols/index.do
Or we will post on our blog as soon as the Galibier, Glandon and Sarenne are opened. Link on our home page: http://www.kingofthemountains.co.uk/
Happy riding!
