I recently went to my LBS -epic, they were really good. I went to have a bike fitting with a view to purchase a bike that best suited me within my budget.
I was measured up for an Obea and went out for a test ride. I have had a fair bit of lower back surgery so i my position on the bike has to be fairly upright. when i got back i had neck ache, they raised the headstock some 10mm with Shims, but it was at the top of the range.
i was then measured for a scott and set up on that. The upshot, they could not find a bike that suited my geometry within my price range (£1200).
i now have a detailed report on my seated geometry from Epic, but dont know where to go next.
i am looking at a 53cm top tube length with a head tube of 140 with a 90mm stem length.
the Scott CR1 Small may be an option i was told but they had no stock in.
I have looked at the Carbon Boardman for £999 but can not seem to find any geometry.
could anyone offer any advice please?
i feel the summer will be over before i get chance to get out.

Try a Specialized Roubaix or any other more 'sportive-oriented' models i.e shorter TT and extended HT. Anything race-oriented is going to be too stretched-out.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
