Back pack for the bike

I have panniers and a rack but I love the convenience of a back pack. I got a cracking Karrimor bike specific one a few years ago and its great but its a 10lL capacity only good for a change of underwear and your sarnies. I am after something a tad bigger that I can use on a commute on my roadbike then to use on my MTB and every day as well. Its still needs to be compact though. I was checking the Deuter ones out they look like a likely candidate. Just wanted to ask your opinion, can you recommend any?

I was thinking the same sort of thing as my 5 year old Quencha 30 ltr rucksack from Decathlon looks like its seen better days. Almost daily use and abuse.
Following on the same theme as yours, compact commuting (change of clothes, bits and bobs and laptop). I went against dedicated laptop bags as they all say "mug me". And I put my laptop into one of the neoprene sleeves so the laptop stays protected.
Top of my list at the moment is the Decathlon BIONNASSAY 22 from their Quencha range. And only 18 quid! Not bike specific, but will definitely do the job.

Good shout , the Decathlon one. I hadn't thought of there. I am looking at around 15-18L capacity. 8)Rock 'n' Roule0

Deuter Race X-Air with the mesh back and straps - highly recommended as ventilated as any backback out there. Mine's 8 years old and still going strong - great for running too..Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
