hi all
im looking to buy my first jump bike i want to use it to do some tricks but also to go on longish rides as well to keep my self fit.
not got a clue on what to buy dont even know what to search for looking to spend around £400, any one got any suggestions on a nice solid starter bike that will be comfortable enough for long rides?
thanks

Giant STP. Solid, reliable and Throw-able.
MBUK done a review on it and it scored very well.
I also speak from personal experience - I use my STP for Jumping and Trails, all over the UK.
Many others will say the same

thanks for the reply albo having a problem finding on in my local area no shops seem to stock it
only bike in my price range i can seem to find is:
Diamond Back Bandito
GT Chucker XS1 09
ill try to get into a bike shop to see if i can get a STP ordered or would one of the above suit?
thanks alot
EDIT:: i just found one on a local site and its £750 :S0 -
The bandito is an ok bike, one of my friends had one, now he has a better bike (DMR transition) but for what you pay it's good, i think it was the 08.0

i have an stp and would recommend it for both.
a mate had a chucker and he got on fine with it for long rides and jumping
only consideration is tyres i would say as the chuckers stock tyres are quite smooth0 -
