Testing, testing....!

Going to Plymouth tomorrow and testing Spesh Tarmac Comp & Cube Agree GTC Agree. Can`t wait. Been considering options for several weeks and now down to these two (although they still have a 2009 Tarmac Comp in a 54 for £1350).

Anyone have any thoughts, good or bad, on either?

Frame on Tarmac is top notch. Last years Expert, absolute gem although kit is fairly modest (105 & Aksium wheels). Cube on the other hand has loads of decent kit (Ultegra, Easton Vista SL`s, etc) so different beasts.

Opinions sought please!!

I'd be tempted by the Cube. Better spec, good frames. My brother in law has a Cube and a friend got the Spesh. Having tried both I prefer the Agree. Try both and see what you think though. I also think the Cube looks better if that's important to you.

Thanks for the replies. After spending several hours riding/weighing up the following;

1. 2010 Cube Agree GTC Race
2. 2010 Spesh Tarmac Comp
3. 2009 Spesh Tarmac Extra (full Ultegra SL groupset, wheels, etc)

Finally decided on 09 Tarmac Expert. Ride quality just about the best of the three. Have to say the Cube looks absolutely fantastic in the flash and is definitely worthy of a ride but the Tarmac soaks up more bumps, fitted me better (54 v Cube 56) and just felt slightly more comfortable. Negotiated a good deal with Certini (excellent service all round it has to be said) and one very happy bunny!!

Just waiting for the weather to improve and away I go......
