Ka Tec Bikes

Morning All

I'm planning to get my frames bearings replaced and then having it resprayed. I came across a company called Ka Tec Bikes based in Edinburgh who offer to replace bearings, powder coat and service the frame and also do replacement graphics.

I wondered if anyone here has used them?

    Do some googling. He has an "interesting" approach to self promotion and, frankly, on some of the pictures of frames he has posted the resprays look awful (like a rattle-can more than a pro job). Bearings might be good but on other forums he's managed to alienate people so much that nobody is even prepared to try. Of course this is all internet forum stuff so it might actually be that he does an awesome job. I wouldn't risk my bike with him though.

    +1, although as Atz points out this is all internet forum stuff but i've seen posts from him where he comes across as having a personality disorder.

    Buying a bag of bearings maybe.

    After doing some looking on other forums he certainly seems like a colourul character lol which makes me wonder about sending my frame to him.

    I could just get a bag of bearings from him but has anyone actually got any or know if there any good?
