Hi All, this is my first proper(ish) bike courtesy of ride 2 work :-D

Not been out yet, but just wanted to capture some pics before I ruin it. Not done much yet other than the pedals, so if anybody has some suggestions what to add then I will take everything on board (bit of a noob on the old upgrade front but willing to learn)

no real need to upgrade right away (especially since you haven't been out on it yet). Ride it for a while and see how you feel. You may decide that wider bars would suit you better something like that. Just ride it and enjoy it. When parts wear or fail then replace with upgrades.

PS stock grips are generally poo so you may want to swap these for some lock on's (try and get some green ones to match the colour of the bike). :D

Oh yeah nice ride by the way :D

1st upgrade: get rid of reflectors!
after that upgrade anything you feel isn't as good as the other components, or has worn out

Well ahead of you! The bell is gone too lol.

Thanks for your comments. Other than some pure white crud catchers and some new lock on handles I will see how I get on with it for now and look to upgrade later in the year.

I'm coming back after a long break (10 years) when my last bike had roxshox indys with 75mm travel, so this is a whole new ball game.

I will take some pics when I finally get out somewhere than the abusive streets of Glasgow and see how it performs properly for the first time.
