Funny isn't it? Cameras keep getting higher and higher quality results. Recording studios and Film studios are always striving for higher and higher quality and definition.
Yet, the internet makes all these advancements moot.0 -
crank bro's mallet (clipless), nough said.0

wow, now sc have gone carbon they're not slowing down, are they? the carbon blur xc only came out a couple of years ago didn't it?Rock Lobster 853, Trek 1200 and a very old, tired and loved Apollo Javelin.0

It's to keep up with GT hehe0

I was thinking, how does it compare with scott? scott have been building carbon bikes for ages, and they've only got up to the ransom. sc have only been in the game about as long as thats been out, and they've already overtaken!Rock Lobster 853, Trek 1200 and a very old, tired and loved Apollo Javelin.0

Quite different from the old V10. Hard to tell if that's good or not at this stage.0

Carbon DH? Not sure about that tbh.
Good to see he can't keep his grips clean either though.0 -

If/when it breaks, there's plenty more what that came from!
I don't think the "carbon is too fragile" comments hold much water anymore. If it's strong enough for world class downhill racing, it's strong enough for trail riding.0 -
Simple fact is, like any of the main bike materials, that when implemented properly it is plenty strong enough.
It seems that it may have the advantage of being lighter for a certain strength too.
