Rack advice

OK, no 'touring forum' so for buying advice this is more road than mountian os I'll post here.
Currently I'm using a cheapy rack from a bootfair, heavy steel affair, not designed to accomodate disc brakes (but will if its bent and longer bolts are used LOL).
I want a lighter ally rack - requirements
1/ Weight upto 700g with a top deck, 600g without (so I can add one!)
2/ Prefer a 'square' side profile to a simple triangle to keep panniers more stable
3/ Must accomodate disc brake callipers
Want to keep the price down to circa £20, loads of non disc at that price, just struggling to find one for disc!
Note I'm using a 700c touring frame, believed to be carrera (was resprayed before I bought it) with disc wheels, no rim option.

I think tortec do one for about £25, but i'm not sure on the weight.
Remember, cheap light strong pick two...0 -
They do, which is again 50% dearer than the non disc version so that becomes £37!
Strength isn't that important, I only carry about 4Kg.

Why bother with a rack then? :?
Get a saddle bag or maybe a seatpost mounted rack.More problems but still living....0 -
I carry a laptop and a lunchbox, no way they'll fit ijn a saddle bag, a seatpost mount rack is possible, but they tend to be heavier as they are a cantilever, so may as well stick with what I have!
Cyclestors have a tortec translp disc on special at £24 so may be an option......
