The shamals are a slightly higher-end wheel and more expensive unless you get a good deal on last year's model - the eurus are more comparable to the other two, although still a little more expensive. Shamals & Eurus are excellent wheels, light, stiff and durable. The EA90 SLX are really good value, very light and apparently stiff & durable too, although I'm guessing that the Shamals and Eurus will be stiffer. Don't know much about the Reynolds wheels.

    The Shamals by a mile.

I had the Solitudes and they were decidedly ordinary as far as I'm concerned. Braking was crap, BAD pulsing, and I found them a bit flexy under my 85 kg.

Not tried the Easton wheels, but was advised against them for my weight, and that the hubs aren't that special.

The Campag wheels are just lovely....

You can get 2009 Shamals for £500 - current model is £650. Campagnolo have been making 'factory' wheels for longer than anyone else and it shows
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Defo go for the Shamals. £500 is a bargain for them. Just bought a pair today myself.

Give highonbikes.com a phone, they don't have all the stock they have listed on the website/ebay(or didn't), but when i called they said they had about 5 pairs left with Shimano freehub, and about a dozen or so with Campag - £499, free delivery.

That ebay deal on the 2009 shamals is so tempting... I hope they all sell out soon, before I hit the "buy" button at 1am on a Saturday night after half a bottle of wine...

Angel says: "You've already got a perfectly good set of eurus clinchers which are a couple of years old but still going strong, and you've just serviced the hubs and freewheel. The shamals would be nearly identical, you're not going to notice 100g weight saving. No way can you justify it!"

Devil says: "That's 100g of rotating mass. I bet the shamals will feel noticeably nippier. Also, you can try out tubless tyres which will make them feel even better! Your ride will be transformed, and future-proofed too! Plus the old eurus will be a brilliant upgrade for the second bike and you can flog those Ksyriums you never liked much anyway as they haven't had much use. Go for it while you have the chance, you know it makes sense!"
