What are the Mavic Crosstrail wheels and hubs like, i.e how strong and light are they?
Would they be suitable for xc racing?

incredibly strong, not very light and not a great bearing system.... depends what you are using them for?

For similar money you could get Stnas 355 rims on Hope Pro 2 hubs.
