Hello all,
I brought a GT Avalanche 1.0 2009 a week back from paulscycles, I brought it on the cyclescheme from my employer and I am so far very happy with the service from both cyclescheme and paulscycles aswells as the great performance of the bike.
I have been out alot in the last week as was mostly on the road. But at the weekend I thought it would be a great idea to hit the dirty stuff! I headed up to the forest for a couple of hours blast around. There isn't much up there and it's mostly flat but up and down a few ditches and over some logs was enough for me.
I also thought it was a good idea to get some pictures of the bike to show all you
After riding in the damp grass and mud I found the SPD pedels to be very slippery as I don't have any SPD shoes. So I brought some White Wellgo V8 Copy's, will post more pictures once arrived and fitted. I also brought some White DMR Lock-On Grips as I thought this would look good with the White and black theme. I will also post some more pictures onces these have arrived and fitted.
Hope you enjoy.
Cheers
Scott

Looks a cracking bike. I'm a big GT fan. I have an Avalanche 1.0 that I'm just starting to use more.
I should post pics of mine headed 'What happens when you buy a bike and stick it in a garage for 6 years' :oops:0 -

Can I add a chapter about what happens if you leave one in there for 9 years?
As it's been said - I really like GT's. Shame I got a Trek a few years ago really. Making up for it now though!GT I-Drive 5 XCR '09
