London to Brighton entry help

I will say sorry in advance if this is posted in the wrong forum. A few mates are doing the the above ride and im trying to get a late entry to raise some money for the charity etc. Ive emailed BHF a few times but no reply and also tried to ring them but so far no luck. What are the chances of getting a late entry / or procedure or am I flogging a dead horse until next year?

    By now the waiting list will probably be massive, so you might be unlucky.
    I entered an hour after opening and within 8 hours entry was closed.
    It is a nightmare trying to get hold of BHF but keep trying you might get there.

    GWillis, I have an entry that I will probably not be needing due to double booking myself on a sportive instead. I've not received details of my start time yet but if you're interested in doing the ride, I'm fairly confident you should be able to ride instead of me. PM me if you're interested.

    You could just do it anyway. They are public roads and as long as you start 25 m after the start and finished at the pier (100m from the finish) then I'm not sure they could stop you. 6ou are raising money for charity after all.

    Thanks to jrduquemin it looks like im sorted. I managed to get hold of the BHF who are happy for riders to exchange if they cant ride.

    I completed the L2B last year and booked up to do it again but unfortunately I'm unable to do the L2B this year and have two places going, I know there is a waiting list, so if anyone fancies doing it this year PM me and we can sort out the details.
